Update (2/5/10): Another milestone met in completion of the CDR. The report, submittals, and presentations received very good reviews from NASA as they commented on the accuracy, completeness and process for testing the payload and systems. All documents for the CDR are located under SLI Documents.
Update (12/13/09): Well the BMC has made it through the first milestone submittal and reviews! Review comments received included "..well prepared..", "...excellent presentation and participation by all team members...". Our project has been well received by NASA and they are very impressed with our first year team. Please visit the SLI Documents link to see the documents completed for the PDR. Now onto the Critical Design Review (CDR) Milestone.

The Blue Moon Crew (BMC) is a model rocket team consisting of middle school students and high school freshmen from Sheboygan, WI that have qualified for and have been accepted into the 2009-2010 Student Launch Initiative (SLI) Program through the Academic Affairs Office of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The BMC qualified by placing third at the Rocket for Schools event held annually in Sheboygan, WI.
The BMC is proud to represent the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) as Section #693 Today's Hobby Rocketry Uniting Sheboygan Teens (THRUST), the State of Wisconsin, and the City of Sheboygan.
