CDR Flight Summary demonstrating designed deployment of the recovery system, working altimeters electronics, and ejection charge sizing.

Early wind tunnel testing of the nosecone/payload system.  Wind tunnel fixes remain.

 

Bench testing results to verify we can produce power from a brushless DC motor by just turning the armature by a slave motor (i.e. the Dremel tool) and measure/correlate power generated to RPMs produced.

After returning from the cold farm field of the Bertram family near Fond du Lac, WI, team member shows the camera that the electronics bay and ejection charges worked as designed.

We thought we would add this link even though not part of SLI, but as a point of what is capable while launching a high power rocket.  This is an on-board video of the THRUST High School Team's flight at NAR's 2009 National Sport Launch at Richard Bong State Park in Kansasville, WI.
